This was our second visit to Buttercup Cottage and we have already booked our next visit, so it goes without saying that we love this place!  It is so comfortable and convenient to all the local sites.

What a great stay. Walking distance to all that Saluda has to offer...great bicycling of all types/ mountain-gravel-road.  My host introduced herself and left butter, eggs, bread, milk, OJ and even homemade jam.  How about that for 5 star accommodations!

Buttercup Cottage was exactly as described, everything we needed was there! Great attention to detail, kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable and the place was very clean.  Very quiet & peaceful location, enjoyed listening to the birds singing in the mornings!

Wow! This is one of the very best places we have ever stayed.  Your kind hospitality is appreciated very much.  We especially enjoyed talking to Dan about the garden-and the veggies were wonderful,  Nothin' could be finer...

Another perfect visit - like coming home.

9/11/17 " Hurricane Irma"  Where do we start?  We had one day to find a safe place for us and our dogs.  We were terrified, one of us coming from Florida and two from Coastal South Carolina.  You took care of us, you were concerned.  You provided us your kindness.  Words cannot express how much we appreciated it.  Your place is amazing!  It provided us comfort in our most stressful moments..  Thank you for everything.  We will never forget what you did for us and we will be back when we can fully appreciate this lovely place.

Thank you so much for your welcome and all the breakfast goodies.  We enjoy Buttercup Cottage very much and love this part of the South.  What a gem!
